On Boston’s Newbury Street, tucked between posh designer showrooms and salons, a haven of American-made menswear awaits. Creamy leather couches, trophy stags—even a full-service barbershop—all carefully arranged around life-warranted clothing and accessories.

For any other brand, this setup would seem forced. But for Ball and Buck, a brand built on providing the finest in American-made wares, it couldn’t be more honest.

Founded in 2008, when the US economy was at its worst, Mark Bollman created Ball and Buck as a way to help support American jobs while setting the standard for quality products.

“I founded Ball and Buck to create products that are the best of what America can offer”, says Bollman. “My hope is that people will join me in ensuring we don’t completely lose the art of craftsmanship that this country was founded upon.”

Bollman comes from a long line of outdoorsmen and sportsmen. This insight, coupled with his entrepreneurial drive, allowed him to create an authentic American brand that feels just as appropriate on the trail as it does in the city.

“The well-dressed man buys into classic styles,” Bollman explains. “It's a cross roads of preppy, classic, and rugged. I’ve always ignored the trends to invest in staple pieces that will last.”

Now in its eighth year of business, Ball and Buck has amassed an entire lineup of premium products. Among these are B&B’s signature Hunter’s shirts and polos, featuring a reinforced shooting shoulder and reinforced elbow patches. Collaborations with top American brands—like Allen Edmonds, New Balance, Shockhoe Denim, and Randolph Engineering. Not to mention, curated collections—featuring signature plaids, camouflage and horween leather. All of these, by the way, are sold with a lifetime warranty.

“You don’t have to wear [our clothes] in the field,” Bollman says, “but at least you know they work there if you do.”
